About the Study

The SARS-CoV-2 Infection in Healthcare Workers research study began in March 2020, just as the novel coronavirus pandemic started to unfold in the United States.  Taking place at the University of North Carolina Medical Center (UNCMC) in Chapel Hill, NC, this study is lead by distinguished infectious disease professionals and epidemiologists from the UNC School of Medicine and the Gillings School of Global Public Health. This study is supported by a diverse team and needs the support from healthcare personnel at UNCMC to inform community leaders about the transmission of SARS-CoV-2.
